Who am I?

With over 30 years of international experience in corporate security, executive protection, risk management and training, I bring a unique depth of expertise to complex and high-risk environments. My career has taken me from high-profile assignments across iconic global venues to frontline operations in hostile and remote regions – always with a people-first, mission-focused mindset.

I’ve led the design and delivery of security frameworks for multinational organisations, safeguarded intellectual and confidential property, and provided executive protection to UHNWIs, celebrities, diplomats and corporate leaders. My background includes consulting on major crowd safety and event security operations across most regions interantionally, as well as developing robust travel risk management plans in line with ISO 31030 – including some of the world’s most challenging destinations.

Before entering the private sector, I served in the British military, where I developed a foundation in leadership, physical training, expedition planning and operational resilience. That experience now underpins my approach to security, crisis management, and executive coaching – combining discipline, adaptability and a clear-eyed focus on outcomes.

As a certified Security Risk Management Consultant (SRMC®), Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society (FRGS), and qualified (AoEC) Executive Coach, I specialise in building safer, more resilient environments. I deliver up to Level 6 training internationally in security culture, hostile environment awareness, executive protection, crisis leadership, and event safety management  – supporting professionals, NGOs and corporations to operate effectively in an increasingly uncertain world.

 My credentials include a bachelor’s degree in Sport Psychology, advanced diplomas in Security Management, Crowd Science, Adult Education, Coaching and Crisis Management, and global certifications including the CCTP, Expert Witness, Lean 6 Sigma and Google Cybersecurity. I hold multiple SIA licences and specialist driving and protection qualifications. I’ve led major security programmes across the globe, and worked with clients ranging from Meta, Live Nation and Sela to TUI, Square Metre, Frontier Risks and Virtus Data Centres, major event operators, and remote security teams across EMEA, NORAM, APAC, and most places between!.

I specialise in embedding security into the DNA of organisations—integrating risk management, executive protection, travel safety, cyber awareness, and crowd science into coherent operational strategies. I’ve worked extensively across diverse environments, with a particular focus on inclusive safety cultures. Whether consulting at board level, planning for major live events, or teaching frontline teams, I apply a pragmatic, grounded approach rooted in real-world experience – always with a view to protecting people, assets, reputation and mission integrity.
